「便利ですよ」「簡単ですよ」「楽ですよ」という甘い言葉に誘われて、いつの間にか自分では考えない、自分ではまっとうに判断できない、自分ではなにも出来ない、つまり「進化」ではなく、生き物として「退化」している人がこの国には増えているように感じます。

もちろん国が安全基準を定めることは出来ます。企業が商品に説明書を添付することもできます。しかし肝腎の生活者一人ひとりが、ものごとの理屈を理解し、安全に使用することを実行しなければ、やはり事故は起きます。

自分は全て自分流で暮らし、安全は誰かが守ってくれる、こんな都合の良いことがあるはずがないのです。これでは国のお金はいくらあっても足りなくなってしまいますし、企業は何も作れない、なにも売れないということになってしまいます。

なにはともあれ、まず自分の安全は自分で守る、これが基本です。

これをきちんと行う人が、社会で守られ、企業からも守られる、これがまっとうな社会のあり様というものではないでしょうか。
